Save an Animals Life

It may have not crossed your mind, but just like us humans, cats and dogs need blood transfusions too.

As a 24-hour hospital with an emergency service, we see many patients that require life-saving blood transfusions. We are lucky to be able to offer this service, although we rely on voluntary donations from owners and their pets to help meet the needs of patients that require blood transfusions.

Patients requiring blood transfusion usually suffer from severe trauma, cancer, blood clotting and bleeding disorders, anaemia or have ingested toxins that cause bleeding or have suffered from  blood loss during surgery.

A blood transfusion can greatly change the prognosis of your beloved furry friend and help them through severe illness or injury. Please consider joining this life-saving service, your support will change lives.
