Emergency Lead Veterinarian
Yuki was born and grew up in Japan. Yuki graduated with a BSc in the United States in 2012 and subsequently graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in the United Kingdom as a veterinary surgeon in 2016. Yuki undertook a rotating internship at a private specialty hospital in the United Kingdom after qualified. He developed his knowledge and skills in all aspects of veterinary medicine during the internship but particularly in emergency and critical care as he had exposure to very high caseload of emergency. He also developed his special interest in emergency and critical care medicine from his experience during the internship. He joined North Shore Veterinary Hospital as an emergency and critical care clinician in 2018 and became the lead afterhours vet in 2023. In 2022, he passed the exam and became a member of the Emergency and Critical Care chapter in the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.
Apart from work, he enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
