As Your Pet Gets Older

As your pet gets older, we strongly recommend that they have routine health checks every 6 to 12 months. As dogs and cats age they become more at risk for developing ailments such as degenerative disease, cancer and osteoarthritis. During a geriatric health check, your veterinarian may recommend performing routine blood and urine testing as a screening for possible underlying conditions your pet may have. Long term chronic conditions can also be discussed during these visits and a personalised treatment plan established to ensure your pet is enjoying their best quality of life. If you are worried that your geriatric pet may be suffering, please book an appointment and we can help your friend get some bounce back.
