BRONWYN WALKER
BVSc (Hons) MACVSc
Bronwyn graduated from The University of Sydney in 1999. After some years in small animal practice in Sydney and the UK, Bronwyn joined the Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development program and became a volunteer vet in Samoa for 12 months. In this rewarding role she ran a mobile desexing clinic and treated many interesting infectious disease, poisoning and trauma patients.
When Bronwyn returned to Australia she completed an internship at the Animal Referral Hospital in Strathfield with rotations in medicine, surgery and emergency/critical care. She thoroughly enjoyed this experience and it inspired her to study for membership of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in small animal internal medicine, which she attained in 2006.
Bronwyn joined North Shore Veterinary Hospital in 2006. She is a keen cyclist and loves hiking in Sydney's beautiful bushland. Her backyard is shared by a growing veggie patch, four chickens and two dogs.
